Dr Shwetha S Kamat is an alumnus of M. S. Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore, and holds the MBBS degree from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (2007). She subsequently completed her postgraduate training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER), Pondicherry, and was awarded the MS degree in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in 2012. 

Dr Shwetha started her career as an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics & Gyanecology at the Mahatma Gandhi Medical College & Research Institute, Pondicherry. Currently, she is a Consulting Obstetrician & Gynaecologist at the Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Bangalore.
